Do I fit in?

The MS-26 is a compact airplane, which means there isn't much extra space inside. If you are of a larger build, there is a possibility that the space may not be comfortable or suitable for you. It can be quite discouraging to dedicate significant time to building it, only to later find that the available space may not meet your needs. To assist with this consideration, we have prepared drawings for a mockup that focuses exclusively on the cockpit area (internal space only).

Construct the mockup using materials that you already have or that are easy to obtain. Dimensions are given only for the parts needed for the interior mockup. Be sure that the structure is sturdy enough to safely simulate stepping into the cockpit. In the actual aircraft, you support yourself by holding onto the sides of the opening. Make sure these sections of the mockup are strong enough to safely support your weight.
